I’ve given money to my kids to go and buy food and presents for children who are less fortunate than them this Christmas. I want them to think about those kids, but also their own social responsibility because that’s the answer to this problem. We all need to take responsibility for our society, to play a part, and we need a reset on the values of this country, starting with government and all those in positions of power and responsibility. Otherwise, cases like this will persist and spiral. Basically, we need to look out for each other. I hope this little girl and her family get the Christmas she’s hoping for. That’s how it should be.
